Dr. Jeffrey B. Ingalls DMD
Dr. Jeffrey Ingalls is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He is establishing his own practice after serving on active duty for 12 years in the United States Army where he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and received the Meritorious Service Medal. He has a distinguished military career that spans over a decade, including a deployment to Afghanistan where he received the Bronze Star Medal for his service. He served as the officer in charge at his most recent Army clinic as well as the surgical chief for the oral and maxillofacial surgery department. He also served as an assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences while instructing residents at Martin Army Community Hospital at Ft. Benning, GA. He was honorably discharged and pursued his dream of having his own practice.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama, and raised in Kennesaw, Georgia, Dr. Ingalls graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia and received the Horace Wells Award for outstanding achievement in the field of dental anesthesiology. He joined the Army during dental school after receiving the Health Professions Scholarship and went on to complete his advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) at Ft. Benning, GA. He completed Airborne school enroute to his first duty location at Ft. Hood, Texas, where he was assigned as the brigade dentist. He deployed with the 1st Cavalry Division to Afghanistan in 2013 where he witnessed and treated traumatic facial injuries. He pursued his passion for oral surgery at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where he completed his residency and served as chief resident.
Dr. Ingalls is an expert in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery with special interests in tooth extractions, bone grafting, dental implants, facial reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, trauma, TMJ disorders, pathology, and pediatric surgery. He continues to work in Atlanta, Georgia, at a unique practice that specializes in pediatric oral surgery and sedation.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
When he is not working or teaching, Dr. Ingalls enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their five children. He likes activities on the water, golf, and attending sporting events. He has two dogs named Georgia and Bear that serve as a big part of their family.
Dr. Ingalls is highly skilled in a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures and is committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in his field. He has proudly served our country earning numerous military awards and is now grateful for the opportunity to serve families right here in Parrish, Florida.
